Inkjet Workshop site updates: January 2004 The FAQ section has several new questions; the Printers page has information about new printers from Epson, HP and Canon. The Printer Driver Settings page is being updated.
Wilhelm Research (12-03) Has pubished new display life data for the Epson 9600 (using the Ultrachrome inks that are also used in the 7600 and 2200.)
Dell (3-31-03) is now marketing an 'all in one' 4-color printer aimed at the home market. From the photos on the site, it appears to be a bubble-jet type technology.
Epson (3-14-03) announces the Epson Stylus Photo 900 printer. 5760x720 dpi, prints on inkjet printable CDs and DVDs, borderless 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10 prints. Prints on letter-size posterboard up to 1.3 mm thick.
Canon (2-3-03) announces the i950 printer; 6-inks,, 4800x1200 dpi, 2 picoliter drop. MSRP $250.
Wilhelm Research (12-15-02) new display life data on HP Deskjet 5550 printer.
